About Mooncat Crystals

Mooncat Crystals is a small, independent crystal shop run by me, Kristen. Almost every stone here is one I picked out myself, photographed, and wrote up, so you know exactly what you're getting before it arrives.

What you can count on

The exact stone in the photo. Most pieces are one of a kind and individually photographed. When a listing is intuitively selected (like tumble sets or mystery bags), the listing says so.
Honest labels. If a stone has been heated, coated or otherwise treated, or is man-made, the listing says so. I'd rather you know than be surprised.
Hand-selected, not drop-shipped. I source in person at gem shows around the U.S., and every order is packed and shipped by us from Ohio.
A grounded approach. Crystals are tools for intention, reflection and ritual, and they're lovely to have around. They aren't medical treatment, and I won't tell you they are.

Meet Kristen

I'm a cat mom, a breast cancer survivor, and a Ph.D. who has loved rocks since I was a kid, from hours in small rock shops to digging through flats at gem shows across the country.

I'm also a certified crystal healer. Over the years I've learned what actually matters when you're choosing a crystal: how it formed, where it came from, whether it's been treated, and whether it feels right to you. That's what this shop is built on.
