Charoite is a rare potassium calcium silicate mineral found in only one place on Earth: along the Chara River in the Sakha Republic of Siberia, Russia. Its swirling violet, lavender, and white patterns are unlike any other mineral and make it one of the most visually distinctive stones in existence. As a cabochon, it is shaped and polished to a smooth dome that showcases the full depth of its characteristic swirling color. Charoite is genuinely rare and its locality is the only known source worldwide.
